Register for our live webinar on 13th January 2025 – Why Diets Fail: Build the Foundations for Sustainable Change
When New Year’s comes around, about 1 in 3 people start diets in a bid to lose weight. These diets can be extreme, lacking in essential nutrients, focus on excluding foods, and ultimately leave a person feeling deprived and downright miserable.
It’s therefore not a shock to learn that;
Fad diets are dangerous causing harm to our mental, physical and social health.
Therefore, I would like to offer some advice on how to approach it more safely this year, and perhaps pull some of you away from fads towards science.
In this webinar, I will be answering 2 vital questions;
I want you to leave the webinar knowing how you’ll go about achieving this. For example, you’ll leave the webinar knowing what to eat for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Everyone is different and will need to approach the future post webinar differently. Some people will want to make lots of changes at once, while others will be better off making one change at a time (the easiest change for you to make) and building on it. One size does not fit all.
What you’ll need to come into the webinar with, other than some paper and a pen, is patience and an open mind. It will and should take time.
However, this isn’t for everyone. The mere mention of weight loss diets can trigger people in unhealthy ways. If this is triggering for you, then please do not join in.
For those who wish to end the cycle of fad dieting, or learn more about healthier ways to lose weight, join me on Monday 8th January 2024 at 7:30 pm for my webinar on how to lose weight in a more sensible, scientific way. The webinar will be recorded and available to watch at a later date, for a limited period, if you are unable to attend live on the night.
