And
They are antioxidant rich – fruit, nuts, seeds & cocoa are all terrific sources of antioxidants.
Ingredients
- 200g pecans
- 200g dates
- 200g figs (cut off the stalk)
- 4 tbsp of cocoa powder
- 4 tbsp peanut butter
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
How to make them
- Put all the ingredients into a food processor. Blend it well. You might need to add a drop of water if it’s not mixing easily.
- You can flatten the mixture into a baking tray covered in parchment. To do this simply lob everything onto the parchment, and using a separate small sheet under your hand, squish the mixture flat.
- Then place in the fridge for an hour. After an hour you’ll be able to cut them into squares and transfer to an air tight container.
